If your did like mine and went ahead automatically and installed the stinkin Jungo USB drivers anyway, then you’ll need to do the follow: Rebooting, restarting, un plugging, nothing works. I use Microsoft Security Essentials for virus scanning. Right-Click and select “Update Driver Software” and then choose “Browse my computer for driver software”. Have you activated the DTR-signal in your terminal programm? I really hope this helps out other people and saves you all the headaches I had to go through to get this thing working.

At least you have given me a clue to what else I can try. Please provide more instruction on how to get over this fuse bit hurdle. Driver installed correctly, but again Atmel Studio doesn’t communicate with the board. Open up the programmers. stueio

So far I have spent 90 minutes installing the software and four hours debugging the communication I borowed avr isp mk2, followed your instructions, burned new bootloader and now it works. I swear at one point I was ready to hang the MKii on studik post outside and put a bullet through it!

There is some flashing of the leds, and in Atmel Stjdio the Xplained board is shown immediately. Not sure what to try next. On my newer machines, this doesn’t automatically happen. And another WIndows 7 32 bits can’t. I have never any special firewalls installed except the internal one from Windows. Kind Regards, Viacheslav Gromov.

It is a known issue, and requires one to manually add the driver because of ‘Legacy Hardware’. I did not see that in your list of “all thinkable combinations”. Velocity’s post is stuido closest on the web to do this, but I need more instruction particularly in step 5.
You’ll need to make some minor adjustments for the non-pico version.
